		<description>Hi Nik - thanks for your comment. I was not aware of this issue, and luckily, I have not experienced it myself. I&#039;ve restored several files on several occasions and mostly have not encountered any hiccups. I say MOSTLY because there was a time where I tried to restore a previous file to the desktop. CrashPlan said it worked, but no file was visible. Luckily it wasn&#039;t a do-or-die situation. A few weeks later I was using my FTP client that I have set to show Invisible Files. When looking at my desktop, I noticed CrashPlan had restored the files, but kept them invisible. At least now I know to look for that if that ever occurs. Since then, I&#039;ve not had a similar problems with my file restores.</description>

		<description>Turns out old backup archives created with Crashplan have a bug that can leave files unrestorable.  Crashplan silently fixed this (no entry in the release notes), but old archives may have corrupted files.  The only solution is to wipe and restore the archive, and the only way to find out is to try a restore and see if it works.
